The initial requirements for Filipinos interested working as Domestic Helpers in Japan is as follow but this may change as the Japanese and the Philippine government are still finalizing the necessary procedures.

The Japanese government has stated that they would be accepting applicants starting the second quarter of 2016(June/July).

1. Male/Female
2. 24-45 yrs old
3. Highschool graduate
4. Proficient in Nihongo(Japanese language)
5. Must complete a 6 month TESDA training in HOUSEKEEPING.
