President-elect Rodrigo Duterte offered Ms. Gina Lopez, the Chairman of the ABS-CBN Lingkod Bayan Foundation and chairperson of the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission (PRRC) the position of DENR Secretary in a courtesy call at the Presidential Guest House in DPWH Panacan Depot, Davao City.
Ms. Lopez came with Norie Garcia, Will Harper, Pat Varias and Jun Baclay and began their meeting with the President-elect at 5:23 pm. At 6:15 pm, President-elect Duterte announced his offer to Ms. Lopez.
Ms. Lopez is yet to announce her decision regarding the offer.
Gina also added that “Whether I’m in DENR or not, I will give my 100 percent backing to this great man and who I think would be the best President.”
